Today was definitely better than yesterday, only a slight drizzle, the roads were well maintained and flat, and we were dressed for the cold weather in our thermies and winter coats and we stopped at a thrift store to get a warm lap blanket.
We spent last night with Esther and Karl Kopp in East Aurora, NY. They are with The Evergreen B & B Club and were so hospitable and such wonderful hosts. This afternoon no evening we are spending with fellow HCCA members Marian and Tony Johnson in Ontario after having crossed the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, NY. We are on the northern shore of Lake Erie in a copy of the Swiss Chalet that was at the 1893 Columbia Exposition in Chicago. The Internet connection is very "iffy" here so no download of pictures again today. Sorry. We have thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the Johnson's travels, old cars and summers here along the lake.
